Donations range from $10 - $1,000



Q: How much does it cost to make a blanket?

Depends on if it's a licensed print or patterned print, the cost to make one blanket ranges from $10 - $20

Q: What types of groups get involved in making the blankets?

Groups range from schools, scouts, youth groups, bible study groups, baton groups, mother/daughter groups, basketball teams and clubs



Q: How do you buy the fleece to make the blankets?

We use 100% of the donations to purchase material. We work closely with Jo-Ann Fabrics.



Q: How are the blankets packaged/delivered?

Each blanket is packaged in a clear zipper bag with handle, donated by Premier Dry Cleaners in Mentor. A card is included for the child that contains a picture of Ashley Imbrogno, provided by Sams Club, and a letter from Ashley, provided by Kinkos.



Q: What types of events have we participated, to raise money for material?

We participate in the Great Lakes Mall Breakfast with Santa event. We receive several thousand dollars in items to raffle off from local businesses, Cleveland Sports teams, and many other businesses.

Q: Can I donate a fleece/material to make blankets?

We prefer to buy the material directly, as we have discounts worked out with fabric stores. If you would like to make blankets, they need to be 1.25 yards front and back, as well as double tie.

Q: When do you make and deliver blankets?

We start making blankets in August and wrap up for the holidays in late December. All blankets are delivered the week before Christmas. We also make blankets for Valentine's Day.

Q: Do you have a tax exempt code?

We are currently in the process of completing paperwork.



Q: We don't live in Ohio and want to be a part of the program. Can we participate and make blankets for out of state facilities?

Absolutely. You would work with Warming the Hearts to make sure we are delivering a consistent product.

Q: What's next for Warming the Hearts?

Ashley's 2008 goal is to make/deliver 900+ blankets to hospitals, senior centers, and other facilities. We will be rolling out a chapter in Long Island, New York.
